The Deck Pressure Washing & Staining Process:

First we power wash the deck using between 2,000 and 3,000 P.S.I. Power washing removes the top layer of dead wood fibers. Our Crews are trained to maintain an approximate 45 degree angle to the wood and wash with the with the wood grain to avoid excess fraying or leaving stop marks.

The wood decking is allowed to dry for a few days, During this time the wood is prepped for staining.

After pressure washing and prep of the wood deck we apply a Penetrating Oil Stain to the decks surface.

FYI> If you have spoken to other contractors about staining your deck and have any doubt about their knowledge of your deck wood’s needs, know that improperly stained wood deck usually costs more to fix than it does to do it right the first time.
